fantastic location and great amenities!

comfortable bed unique atmosphere spacious shower room

i loved the shower room! it seemed like the entire room was designed as a shower. there was even a chair to sit on under the showerhead. the bed was also comfortable, the most comfortable of all the hotels i stayed at. the hallways had a unique dark atmosphere that i really liked.

i found that the breakfast had limited options. the fruit selection was minimal, and the hot plates, weren't very warm. it was a bit disappointing, but everything else was great.

the location is excellent. it is right on the main road. nishiki market is just a short two minute walk away.

the staff were very polite and hospitable during check-in and check-out. i used the automated check-in system, which found my reservation by first name instead of last name. it was a minor issue, though it was easily resolved.

the room layout was perfect, very wide open and spacious. the room was modern and very clean, i liked that! the room provided ample space for luggage and moving around freely.

There is a vending machine available. it offered a nice selection of hot chocolate and other beverages. a free matcha and coffee machine provided tasty drinks. I really loved the free sake!

Fantastic Stay in Great Location

evening sake easy exploring

The hotel was modern. I especially enjoyed the complimentary sake they offered each evening. I also really appreciated the location near Nishiki Market. It made exploring very easy.

The location is central. It allowed very easy access to shopping and dining options. The included coffee and matcha were available, a very nice perk!!!

A Solid Stay Downtown

central location complimentary sake uninformed staff small room

The location was fantastic. The main avenue location made it very convenient (I could easily access attractions). The hotel also offered complimentary sake daily. A coffee machine with options such as Matcha Latte was available. It was nice.

My room had some drawbacks. I noticed the staff seemed a bit uninformed about the local area. When I asked for directions to Nishiki Market, the directions were not helpful. the room felt small. The space beside the bed was limited.

Acceptable location, but lacking in comfort

The hotel's location near shops and eateries was indeed convenient.

The room was small with limited natural light. This. I expected a window that let in more than a sliver of daylight. The one-ply toilet paper was also a source of constant frustration. It seemed like the budget was cut a bit too aggressively.
